We've had a good two days to start off our 2022-23 school year. Tomorrow students will have a normal daily schedule with our day starting at 8:09 and dismissal starting at 3:00pm. I did want to re-share with everyone the MMS dress code. Please review with your student and make sure when they leave for school in the morning they are dressed per our dress code. We will be reviewing with students this week and giving out warnings if need be. Starting next week students will have to call home / change if they are not following our dress code. Keep an eye out for more information about each Team's Parent Meeting in the next couple of days weeks. In lieu of open house this year we offered building tours and will follow up with a Meet the Parent experience by each team offering a Parent meeting. This would be a good time to ask questions, make sure you understand how to use all the resources your student will need, and meet your student's teachers. Please reach out to me if you need anything as we get our new school year rolling. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17Z-mfu-pZXorilrkOmFoSTGua8WgJqsvogZcamgpCf0/edit#gid=1611670916

In preparation for the new school year we would like to review our procedures for student drop off / or pick up. Car riders will use the pull around driveway at the front of the school. There are 2 lanes in this driveway, the lane near the curb is for drop off and the outside lane is for travel. Drivers should pull all the way forward, as indicated by a large orange cone, before stopping to pick up or drop off a student. In the morning, we are asking that you drop your student off once you are parked along a sidewalk. Please don’t want to get closer to the front door. In the afternoon, you’ll use this same driveway loop to park to wait for your student. If a parent wishes to park to pick up their student, we ask that you use the overflow parking near the practice fields as parking is not permitted in the staff parking lot at the front of the building. In order to keep this a safe and efficient process we ask that you follow the direction of the personnel who are directing traffic. Attached to this email is a diagram showing the flow of traffic. Please be patient in our first couple days of school as we all become accustomed to this plan. Make sure your child gets a good night rest on Sunday and weĺl see you Monday morning. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XvIodVMpsYIagEosbgX2XIloKZ1GL2_l/edit
