MMS Daily Announcements 12/12/22
-The viking wrestling team traveled to the Centerville Wrestling Invitational this past weekend where they finished 5th of 16 teams. The vikings were led by Champion JJ Cook, Preston Webb who finished 2nd, Reilly Webb, Blake Courtney, and Peyton Hortman who finished 3rd, Jacob Furl and Owen Crafton who finished 4th, and finally Lila Krull and Caleb Miller who finished 6th. The Vikings look to continue their success at home on Wednesday against Beavercreek, and at home on Saturday in the Miamisburg Dual Tournament.
-Your swim team had another great meet this weekend.

During our November Board meeting, the BOE approved the establishment of an agricultural satellite program in partnership with the Miami Valley Career Technical Center. We are excited about the opportunity to expand our career-technical education for our Vikings!
MMS Daily Announcements 12/5/22
-The Book Fair will take place 12/5-12/9. Students will visit the book fair with their ELA teachers.
-Make up pictures will be this Thursday 12/8.
-The next MMS social will be held on 12/9 from 3 to 4:30pm. The price for admission is $5. Students will need to be picked up promptly at 4:30. There will be pizza, drinks and candy for sale during the social.
-Congratulations to the viking wresting team for their first place finish at the Waynesville Junior High Dual Tournament. The team starts the season 4-0 with wins over Bellbrook, Monroe, Miami Trace, and Western Brown. Every wrestler contributed to the championship, including a few who recorded their first wins ever. Special recognition to Preston Webb, Reilly Webb, Jacob Furl, and JJ Cook for going undefeated.
-FCA will be meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 AM in the cafeteria. Student leaders will be Titus Bettendorf and Ben Kepple. The game will be partner kickball, and as usual, donuts and juice will be provided.

Education Support Professionals (ESPs) include individuals who provide essential clerical services, custodial and maintenance services, food services, health and student services, paraeducation, security services, skilled trades, technical services, and transportation services. Our ESPs are essential to providing our students with a good education – one that includes reliable transportation, safe and clean buildings, nutritious food, and a helpful administration. -MMS Help Center Wednesdays from 3 to 4pm. This is an opportunity to work on homework and receive tutoring help. Transportation is not provided. Students will report to Mr. Madigan’s room (308) after school.
-Page Turners Book Club will meet on Wednesday. This book club is open to all students in grades 6-8. Please join Mrs. Chalfant and librarians from both Miamisburg and Miami Township libraries every Wednesday from after school until 3:45 in room 332.
