If you are interested in playing boys soccer in the Fall 2023 season please come to an informational meeting on Monday, February 20th from 7-8pm in the Miamisburg High School Lecture Hall. This includes returning players, incoming freshmen, and any current MHS students. Offseason opportunities, tryouts, and expectations will be discussed at that time. All are welcome. The Hall of Fame Class of 2023 was inducted 1/27/2023 at MHS. Inductees Lane Hughes, Megan Davis Reed, Megan Wright, and Bryan Myers were also introduced to the public at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game vs. Fairmont, along with other Hall of Fame members.

School counselors are visiting senior Flex periods this week to start the converstion about scholarships. These conversations will be brief and will provide just an introduction for the students. During the week of January 23, counselors will be meeting with all seniors to provide more specific scholarship information.
Holiday Project Clarification: MHS students turn in monetary donations to their first period teacher. Student government will divide the money and purchase gifts for 18 adopted children. Thank you to our MHS families for their kindness and generosity!
Tomorrow is the last day for our Holiday Project collection. Student government has adopted 18 local children to shop for Christmas gifts this year. Turn in your donation during 1st period. The top 3 classes win a pizza party. As of Friday, the top three classes are Mrs. DiGiovanna, Mrs. Roshong and Mr. Lintner.
During our November Board meeting, the BOE approved the establishment of an agricultural satellite program in partnership with the Miami Valley Career Technical Center. We are excited about the opportunity to expand our career-technical education for our Vikings!
There will be an information meeting on January 12 at 6:00 PM in the Commons for students wishing to participate in College Credit Plus in 2023-24. Students should attend with a family member. School counselors along with Sinclair Community College representatives will discuss the program and the
application process.
