Important - Kinder's Meet the Teacher Night on 8/14/23 is from 4:00pm - 5:30pm and not 4-6 as was previously advertised. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience.
Hello Kinder Community!
On Wednesday, August 2nd from 1:00pm to 3:00pm the Staff of Kinder Elementary will be making door-to-door home visits to welcome our amazing students back to school.
Kinder staff will be wearing Kinder shirts to identify themselves. They will NOT be going into any homes, just stopping by for a quick hello.
If you are not home, we will leave a school supply list and information about the Back to School Bash as well as our Meet the Teacher Night.
Hope to see you Wednesday!

Varsity Coach Jaynes is pleased to announce that Miamisburg will be hosting a youth GIRLS basketball fall league again starting in September. The intention of this league is to prepare our players for the upcoming winter Junior Vikings/Middle School Basketball seasons in addition to giving others the opportunity to come out and try something new! The league will run every Sunday and Thursday evening from September 10th - October 8th for any girl in grades 2nd - 8th.
The intention of this league is to help spark interest while also advancing all skill levels, beginner through advance! Each session will include a combination of fundamental skill work, teaching and game play. The league will be run by coaches of the Miamisburg High School, Middle School and Junior Viking staff in addition to players from the High School team. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.
All eight sessions will be offered for the price of $50 and includes a practice jersey for the girls to continue to wear throughout their winter seasons. If a player can only make half of the sessions the cost will only be $25 for 4 sessions.
All signups can be completed online at www.miamisburgladyvikingbball.com

If you have not already taken the Safety and Sense of Belonging Survey, please do. We value your opinion.
In the Spring of 2021, the Miamisburg City School District began the journey of developing a Strategic Plan. One of the components of our shared vision is Safety and Sense of Belonging. We envision a school district that fosters positive relationships, empowers the community, and values diversity, equity, and inclusion to create a safe environment for all. The Spring of 2022 we released the first Community Survey. Through this school year, we have been working on collecting data from all stakeholders that will be compared to last year’s results. This will continue to inform our practices to improve the Safety and Sense of Belonging in our schools. To that end, we would like to hear from you, including parents and others who live and work in our community.
Please access the Safety and Sense of Belonging Survey through this link. This survey will take approximately 3-5 minutes to complete, excluding comments you choose to leave. For the purposes of this survey, please consider “the school” the school your child attends or the school in your neighborhood/community. If you have children at multiple levels (elementary, middle school, and high school), please feel free to answer a survey for each level. The survey will be open from May 17 through May 26, 2023.
We thank you for your time and support in helping us continue to grow in providing welcoming and safe environments for all!
Thanks to everyone bringing donations for Kinder Gives Back. Today our Teacher Dares were to "Dress like the Viking" and "Get wrapped in bubble wrap." We also had a Pie Face Challenge - - but I didn't get pics :(.
