MHS held the 2022 9/11 Stairclimb today with a great presence from first responders, students, and staff. Participants climbed the steps, many wearing weights, for 20 minutes. Thank you to Siobhan Tirado and Katie Lay for organizing this great event.

MMS Daily Announcements 8/30/22
-MMS Help Center starts 9/7 from 3 to 4pm. This is an opportunity to work on homework and receive tutoring help. Transportation is not provided. Students will report to the library after school.
-Tomorrow is Kindness Day at MMS! Staff and students are encouraged to wear t-shirts with Kindness Words.
-The MMS Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle, otherwise known as FCA, will have its first meeting Wednesday, September 7th at 7:00 AM in the cafeteria. Students who attend this before school Christian club will have donuts, a short Bible lesson and a group game. Anyone interested in FCA can talk to their Social Studies teacher or grade level principal for information.
-The fall fundraiser kicked off on Friday, August 19th and ends on September 6th. Orders with money are due no later than September 13th. The delivery date for items will be October 6, 3:30-5:30 at MMS. If a student didn’t receive a fundraiser packet, please check with the main office. The custom-built Miamisburg City Schools app makes it easy to stay up to date with district news and events. Now, Miamisburg City Schools is making it easier to stay in touch with teachers and class information from that same app. Using the Miamisburg City Schools app you can easily switch from district and school information to Rooms where you can see your student's classes and engage directly with teachers. Download the Burg Schools app by going to the app store on your phone.
To access Rooms, you will need to create a login and password. Beginning Monday, August 29th, email invites will be sent to parents/guardians with instructions on how to create an account. If an email invite is not received by Friday, September 2nd please contact your child’s teacher. The teacher will be able to download a guardian invite.

Robbie Shull, senior at MHS, took on a major project recently to become an Eagle Scout. Robbie built an Octo-swing outside of his church in Carlisle.
