Our mission is to help children realize their fullest potential by providing them with an enriching early childhood educational experience. By using a range of educational methods, children can grow and progress in various aspects, such as physical health, cognitive aptitude, emotional maturity, self-care skills, and communication proficiency. Visit our website (https://bit.ly/mcspreschoolreg) to learn more about our preschool programs and how to register your child. As a reminder, your child must be a Miamisburg City School District resident, be three (3) years old or older prior to August 1, 2023, and be toilet trained to be eligible to register.

We want to thank all of the amazing staff, students and parents in the Miamisburg City School District community for all you do to make our schools successful! We are so proud of your hard work and dedication to creating a district of excellence. It's been an incredible school year so far, and we hope you are using this break to take some much-needed time off relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Let us know how you are spending it in the comments!

Kindergarten registration is still open for students who will attend kindergarten in the fall of 2023. Students must turn 5 years of age by August 1, 2023, to be eligible. We will offer two kindergarten programs in the 2023-2024 school year: a traditional half-day program and a tuition-based full-day program. You can begin the online registration process now. After you have completed online registration, you will need to finalize the enrollment by meeting with school personnel after you have completed the online registration process. Visit our website for all pertinent information. We are excited for the 2023-2024 school year!

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! We didn’t want to miss this opportunity to thank our school district's remarkable paraprofessional educators! You play an incredibly important role in our district by assisting our students and teachers daily. Thank you!

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! We certainly didn’t want to miss this opportunity to thank our school district's remarkable paraprofessional educators! We recognize and celebrate your hard work and dedication. You are an essential part of our district, caring for students with special needs, working with students in small groups or individually, and assisting our teachers in so many ways. We wouldn’t be able to meet our goals without your support – thank you, Paraprofessionals, for all you do for our teachers and our students!

National School Librarian Day is observed today to recognize the professionals who keep school libraries well-stocked and the books in perfect order. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized, helping students find the resources they need to learn, and help students pursue reading outside of academic texts. School librarians are also responsible for creating an environment where students are motivated to learn. Their work is truly an accomplishment and appreciated!

This week is National Assistant Principals’ Week. We'd like to extend a huge thank you to Miamisburg City School District's assistant principals: Zack Cline, Jeremy Saylor, Eric Lenski and Sommer Mastronardi! You all play an essential role in the overall administration of our schools. Your help with student enrollment, records, attendance managing day-to-day operations, and aiding with the district’s future plans and vision, is so appreciated! Thank you for all that you do!

As part of our ongoing effort to improve communication between the district and families, we will be sending out a communications survey next week. This survey is aimed at parents and community members and will give us insight into the most effective communication methods. We want to determine if our parents are receiving the information they want and need in a timely manner. The survey will include questions regarding preferred message platforms, formats, and frequency required for parents to feel prepared and well-informed.
We encourage everyone to take the time to complete the survey, as the district plans to use the results to improve its future communication processes and procedures. Positive and transparent communication between schools and families is essential to ensure student success, and we want to do better to meet our families' communication needs. The survey will be open for one week.
