While at the WSU anatomy lab, Miamisburg students were able to view the bodies of individuals who have donated their bodies for medical research. Students also viewed healthy body organs then compared the healthy organs to diseased organs. WSU anatomy instructor Mrs. Bridget Severt and a team of doctoral and grad students presented the lab to our students. This is the 8th year that MHS students have experienced this hands-on anatomy lab.

Members of the Media Arts II Honors class participated in the 2024 Tech Prep Showcase on Friday, April 12, 2024. Their project “Podcast From Scratch” took first place in the Media Arts category and was also named “Best in Show” earning a perfect score from the judges. The project chronicled their journey of creating a video podcast studio at MHS. Members of the team (L to R) are Noah Engel, Katie Massie, Ava Stevens, Allie Fries, and Deaton Shade.
