Miamisburg City Schools Seeks Community Input in Superintendent Search

Miamisburg City School District is launching its search for a new superintendent and is committed to gathering valuable input from staff, students, parents, and community members. The Board of Education, in partnership with K-12 Business Consulting, Inc. and the Montgomery County ESC, is conducting a series of focus groups throughout the district to ensure the next superintendent will effectively lead Miamisburg City Schools into the future and help shape the success of its students.

To facilitate this, each school building will host a staff focus group, allowing employees to share their perspectives on the district’s future leadership. A dedicated student session will be held at the high school in collaboration with the student board of education representatives, while separate focus groups will be conducted for Building Administration and transportation employees. All focus groups will take place on March 3 and 4 at various times and locations.

Additionally, two focus groups will be dedicated to community members—one by invitation and another open to all interested residents, including parents, business owners, and other interested parties. The open community forum details are listed below:

The Board invites parents, staff, students, and residents to participate in these discussions and share their perspectives to help guide this important decision.
