During the June Board of Education meeting, the Miamisburg City School District signed a one-year contract with the Shared Resource Center (SRC) for the treasurer services of Katrina Hillard.
Katrina brings with her 12 years of experience. She served as a secretary for two years, seven years in accounting and budgetary, two years as an assistant treasurer and one year as a treasurer.
“While this situation is unique for our district, we are looking forward to our partnership with the SRC and Katrina,” remarked Miamisburg Superintendent Dr. Laura Blessing. “We had a variety of candidates apply through the search process, but with the growing demand for treasurers across the state, using the SRC services is what will serve us best for the upcoming school year.”
“Working with the Board, we decided the SRC would be the best short-term solution,” said Dr. Blessing. “I am confident that with the experience of Katrina and her team, we will continue to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars while supporting our mission to provide the highest quality education to our students.”
