The Miamisburg May District Student of the Month is Jazzlyn Harrell. Jazzlyn was nominated by Principal Rebecca Huber and Counselor Madison Schaefers. They said "Kinder is proud to nominate Jazzlyn Harrell. Jazzlyn is an exemplary Kinder Knight and a true Pax Leader. She exhibits all the qualities of C.A.R.E (Citizienship, Acceptance, Respect, Excellence).

Jazzlyn is a great citizen at Kinder. She always makes the right choice and is a role model to her peers. We can count on Jazzlyn to make good decisions in and out of the classroom. She is always honest and willing to help with any situation at school. Jazzlyn is the first one to reach out to her classmates and friends when they need help. She is accepting of all students and works well with others. Jazzlyn respects herself, her classmates and the adults. It is not unusual to see Jazzlyn saying good morning to every adult she passes as she enters the school building. Jazzlyn truly enjoys school and takes an active role in her learning. In addition to holding herself to the level of excellence, Jazzlyn is also encouraging to her peers.

The staff and students of Kinder Elementary are not the only ones who think so highly of Jazzlyn. Her mom recognizes the same qualities at home. Jazzlyn’s mom says that she is always honest and loves to help others. Jazzlyn is a great big AND little sister. She loves to make people laugh and is very funny! Jazzlyn loves spending time with her cats and helping her Nana in the garden. She also enjoys fashion, makeup, and playing outside. According to mom, Jazzlyn is an all around great kid and we couldn't agree more!
