Kinder Project Update - February 3, 2012

Driving by Kinder, you can see the progression of the building. The revitalization of the existing Kinder building has made great progress. This section of the building will include the new student dining; media center; computer lab and administration offices. The new construction, to the south of existing Kinder and connected, will include the academic classroom spaces along with the new gymnasium; new kitchen area; mechanical and electrical rooms and playground area.  The project remains on schedule for opening in August 20, 2012.

Miamisburg City Schools will renovate the existing Kinder Elementary/Neff Elementary School Complex to form a 550-student elementary school for grades K-5.

Resource Committee for New Elementary Schools

A resource committee was formed to discuss square footage areas of various curriculum spaces. The resource committee consists of faculty/staff from the following areas: Media/Library, Physical Education, Music, Art and Administration.
